Nokia Will be Selling Their Headquarters?

“We are exploring different options for our property assets. This includes a possible sale of our headquarters. However, we have no plans to move our head office”. This is the quoted statement of Nokia’s financial director Timo Ihamuotila told the Finnish daily Helsingin Sanomat on Wednesday, Oct. 03, 2012. The said building is said to be worth between 200-300 million euros.

The reason of possible selling of Nokia's headquarters is that the company needs to raise cash. Base on the reports, Nokia has now been losing market shares and having a net loss of 1.4 billion euros or $1.8 billion in the second quarter of this year. As of now, they still have the cash file of more than 4 billion euros.

Google+ is Now Having 400 Million+ Members

Last September 17, Google's Senior Vice President of Engineering Vic Gundotra posted on his Google+ profile that Google+ is now having more than 400 million members. And these 400 million+ members were just hit in a span of one year since they started to open the public sign-up.Vic also mentioned that they've just crossed 100,000,000 active users monthly in Google+ including mobile app.

This week we also hit an important milestone--over 400,000,000 people have upgraded to Google+. It was only a year ago that we opened public sign-up, and we couldn’t have imagined that so many people would join in just 12 months. While Google+ is all about creating a better experience across Google, it’s also a destination. And here too, I’m happy to report that we have just crossed 100,000,000 monthly active users on Google+ (plus.google.com and mobile app).
As of now, I can say that Google+ is still way back behind by Facebook considering that they only have 100,000,000 active users monthly and compare it with Facebook with 955 million active users. But then the ball is still rolling. Facebook may have reached that big figure but it took to much time from them before getting those while Google+ only took them 12 months and they already have that number, that big number.

Samsung will be Launching Galaxy S4

It's not just the Apple that was having a big break in the technology world. For according to Korea Times, Samsung Electronics will also be unveiling its ace card, the Galaxy S4, this coming February 2013 during the European Technology Exhibition at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

According to an official of Samsung, Samsung is now ready to unveil the next Galaxy smartphone _ the Galaxy S4 _ at early next year’s mobile world congress (MWC) in the Spanish city of Barcelona and expected to hit shelves globally in March at the latest.

Mobile World Congress is the combination of the world's largest exhibition for the mobile industry and a conference featuring prominent Chief Executives representing mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors and content owners from across the world. The event, initially named as GSM World Congress and later renamed as the 3GSM World Congress, is still often referred to as 3GSM or 3GSM World.

S4 will also be sported with its in-house Exynos-branded application processors and quad-core chips. Its screen size is expected to reach 5 inches bigger than the S3 which only have 4.8 inches. The S4 will have some external changes but retain its popular rectangular shape with rounded corner concept.

Samsung is now starting to negotiate with American cellphone service provider to apply modified phone designs.

Twitter is Over Capacity?

I was just trying to click a profile of someone I followed on twitter but is gave me a window that says Twitter is over capacity. And it ask me to wait for a moment and try it again later.

But what does this mean? Does this mean that twitter can't handle tons of visitors to their page? Does this wasn't foreseen by their engineers?

I'm not an expert that's why I can't define this error. But as a normal user, I would say this is an inconvenience and if this will still be happening most of the time, they wold surely loose some visitors.

But I think this is still fixable. As a proof, Twitter created a page where they listed all concerns or issues that they were working on or has been resolved.

To All Twitter Users:

To all of us, just be patient. If you've encountered some error, just wait for a moment and try again later. lOl

PAPER APPS

Posters of any bands were posted anywhere and if people don't know or not familiar with that band, they will just ignore it. But what if that printed poster posted on a wall or anywhere can play and you can listen a music? Will still ignore it?

Isn't it interesting that you can play a music by just printing it on a plain paper? That's what they call "Printed electronics". Well, if you think there's something special on the paper, then you're absolutely wrong. For it's the ink being used is the one which is having a special something. They called it as a "conductive ink".

unlike with the other ink from Lexmark, HP, Canon, Fujitsu, Brother or to any printer company, conductive inks is more special. Its capability is to print something and it will created an electrical circuit which will allow people to play music out of an ordenary paper. Not just playing music but you can also book your tickets using it.

Who is responsible of this very interesting Paper Apps technology? It's the brand communications agency called "Uniform" which is basing in Liverpool, UK. It was founded by Pete Thomas.

According to Thomas, this Paper Apps are devices that enable the users to interact with data, information and services, but they're made from paper and conductive inks.
